| Hurricane Wilma Hits Ande
Warehouse With High Winds Ande Monofilament in West Palm Beach, Florida lost the rear wall of their warehouse facility do to high winds or a possible tornado created by Hurricane Wilma. Although we lost about 2 weeks of production time, locally, folks and many businesses are in much worse shape. When we think what our friends in the Gulf-States suffered after Katrina and Rita, this is a small matter. Power is back on and we are up and running. Most spooling machines are working well, while some are drying out and still need repair. We are spooling and shipping and our inventories are strong, so keep those orders coming! Wilma had wind gusts of between 118 and
150 MPH, clocked at Palm Beach International Airport. Luckily, it was fast
and dry. We hope and pray that all of our friends and everyone else
affected by these hurricanes will get back into the real world soon. It's
been a humbling year worldwide. No one can imagine what it must be like in
Pakistan, Guatemala, Indonesia, Mexico, Cuba, and our own Louisiana,
Mississippi, Alabama, Texas and Florida.
